We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our patients across Australia who recently completed our practice feedback surveys. Your responses are incredibly valuable and help us continue improving the care and service we provide through our after-hours medical service.
Across every state, we received thousands of thoughtful comments, suggestions, and ratings from patients who have used our service for telehealth consultations and home visits during the after-hours period. We are grateful for the time you took to share your experiences with us.
One of the strongest themes from the survey responses was how much patients value having accessible after-hours healthcare available when regular GP clinics are closed. Many patients told us they appreciated being able to speak with a doctor late at night, on weekends, or on public holidays without needing to visit an emergency department for non- emergency concerns.
We were also pleased to hear positive feedback about the ease of booking appointments. Patients consistently highlighted the convenience of our booking process, whether arranging care online or over the phone. We know that when someone is unwell, or caring for a sick child or family member, simple and straightforward access to care matters enormously.
Another area patients frequently mentioned was the importance of being able to access a bulk billed after-hours doctor. We understand that affordability remains a significant concern for many Australians, particularly during periods of rising cost-of-living pressures. We remain committed to helping patients access after-hours medical care with minimal financial barriers wherever possible.
The surveys also provided important feedback about areas where we can continue to improve. We recognise that reliability and consistency are critical for patients seeking urgent medical advice or care after hours. As a result, we ongoingly review our systems and operational processes to improve reliability across the service, including appointment flow, communication, and response times.
We are also continuing to recruit more on-road doctors and expand our coverage areas across Australia. Strengthening our mobile doctor workforce allows us to provide more home visits, improve availability in underserved communities, and reduce wait times for patients needing urgent after-hours care. As demand for after-hours healthcare continues to grow, expanding both our clinical team and service footprint remains a major priority.
Patient feedback plays a central role in shaping the future of our service. Every survey response is reviewed carefully and contributes to ongoing quality improvement initiatives across our operations, technology, and clinical support systems.
If you would like further information about the individual improvement goals identified for your state, please contact us directly. We are committed to transparency and ongoing engagement with the communities we serve.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the surveys and shared their experiences with us. Your feedback helps us continue building a more accessible, reliable, and patient- focused after-hours healthcare service for communities across Australia.
